Brief bio:
I got an undergraduate degree in mathematics at the Maths School F.M.E. of Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC). In 2003 I finished my Phd degree in the doctorate programme in Applied Mathematics of UPC. From October 2003 to July 2006 I was a postdoc at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Oxford and at the Department of Applied Mathemativs of Charles University in Prague. I got back to UPC in the fall of 2006, first as a "professor lector" (assistant professor) at LSI, later as a Ramón y Cajal fellow at MA2 and since July 2008 as an associate professor.
Docencia/Teaching:
I usually teach at the Computer Science School FIB. This spring I am teaching:
Criptografia, subgrup 11, Dl 17-19: guia docent, web
Matemàtica discreta, grup 10, Dt,Dc,Dj 8-10 (només la segona meitat del curs): guia docent
Cursos anteriors, including past teaching material: aquí/here
Research:
My interests lie in Discrete Mathematics; I have mostly worked in enumerative and bijective combinatorics and matroid and graph theory.
My PhD advisor was Marc Noy and the title of my
dissertation is Graphs and matroids determined by their Tutte
polynomials.
